BEK designed and built a 100% fiber-optic network, BEKFiber, to deliver Lightband gigabit-capable internet into your home. The way we do that is by pulling the fiber optic connection directly from our Central Office to your home.

Although gig-cable network connections provide the fastest internet speeds today, other factors may impact your internet speeds. Some of these factors include:

• Age/model of the device you are testing
• Is your computer capable of gigabit speeds?
• Are you connecting with a wireless device?
• Anti-virus software installed
• Wired connections deliver more accurate results
