Brief Interruptions Possible Through March 8
March 2025
The first solar outage period of 2025 is now underway and may cause brief disruptions to your EPIC IPTV service. This natural event is expected to continue through March 8.
During this time, you may notice temporary signal issues, such as:
- Pixelation or distortion
- Signal interference
- Complete signal loss
These interruptions happen as the sun aligns directly behind satellites, affecting their signal. Solar outages occur twice each year—in spring and fall—and typically last only a few minutes.
What to Expect:
- Outages most often occur around midday.
- Interruptions typically last 5 to 15 minutes.
- Service will automatically restore once the sun’s position changes.
No action is needed on your part. If you experience a brief disruption, please know that it is temporary, and your picture quality will return shortly.
